3-row roundup: America's best-selling segment gets larger with new SUVs from Kia, Cadillac and BMW

America's favorite family hauler is the three-row midsize SUV, which accounted for nearly 25 percent of new car sales in 2018, according to data from Edmunds.com. That segment is only expected to grow in 2019, with new 2020 models coming in the BMW X7, Cadillac XT6, Hyundai Palisade, Kia Telluride, Lincoln Aviator, and redesigned best-sellers in the Ford Explorer and Toyota Highlander.
